Do I need to have any previous singing experience to join?

Not at all! Our choir is open to everyone, whether you're a seasoned singer or a complete beginner. We focus on enjoying music and fostering a positive, supportive environment.

What kind of music will we be singing?

We plan to sing a mix of music, from from folk, musicals, and gospel to contemporary songs, pop, and everything in between. Our goal is to make music that resonates with everyone while ensuring it’s fun and uplifting.
How can singing in the choir help my well-being?

Singing has been shown to improve mood, reduce stress, and boost mental health. In our choir, we focus not only on making great music but also on building a sense of community, relaxation, and joy.

Is there an audition process to join?

No auditions required! We welcome everyone who is excited about singing, regardless of experience or vocal ability. Just come as you are, and we'll help you feel at home.

When and where do rehearsals take place?

Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays (during term time) from 7.15-8.45pm at Bailey's Court Primary School, Breaches Gate, Bradley Stoke, BS32 8AZ.

How much does it cost to join?

Our membership fees are £22.50 a month, which equates to £7.50 per 90 minute session. We strive to keep things affordable and accessible. Monthly payment will be set up after you have attended your first rehearsal.
What should I bring to rehearsal?

Just yourself and a willingness to sing! Bring your enthusiasm and a water bottle to stay hydrated. We’ll provide the rest.

Yes, we will aim to perform in local community events and concerts. However, performances are optional, and participation is based on your comfort level. We focus on enjoying the journey, not just the end result.
